Supporting lifelong learning and mobility in this way also tackles Europe’s ageing population problem.

Lifelong Learning Programme 2007-2013

- The lifelong learning programme 2007-2013 encompasses all the European programmes in the field of lifelong learning. The objective of the action programme in the field of lifelong learning 2007-2013 is to develop and foster interchange, cooperation and mobility, so that education and training systems become a world quality reference in accordance with the Lisbon strategy. The action programme is divided into six sub-programmes: Comenius, Erasmus, Leonardo da Vinci, Grundtvig, the Transversal programme and the Jean Monnet programme.
